University, India Signs with California Lutheran
University, USA.
The
Cooperation will be in the following area:
a.
Academic development for LUI. CLU
will assist LUI in developing curricula
and academic programs in various disciplines,
especially education, business management, communication
and counseling psychology
b.
Faculty development. CLU will
assist LUI in the upgrading of faculty,
particularly at the doctoral level
c.
Twinning programs. In selected disciplines,
CLU will evaluate and consider for acceptance
with transfer credits, students from LUI
who have completed the first two years (or at
other appropriate stage) of a bachelor's degree,
who wish to complete the degree at CLU,
by fulfilling residency and other requirements
d.
Study India. LUI will offer CLU
students opportunities for short term study
programs in India in culture, economic and social
development, management and service learning

Campuses
begin 2004-2005 Academic Year !
Students are enrolled in more than 14 courses
at the 10 campuses of the university which started
in the 2004-2005 Academic year.
Seventh
Day Adventist enter into agreement with LUI
The
University has entered into an agreement with
the Seventh Day Adventist Institutions in India.
The ideology of education in the Lutheran and
Seventh Day Adventist tradition has many parallels
and similarities.. Dr. K.M. Shyamprasad , the
Chancellor of Lutheran University, and Pastor
Dr. Watts ,the President of the Southern Asia
Division of Seventh Day Adventists officially
exchanged signed agreements to this effect.
